Committed to the creation of cherished memories.

Magical Mystery Tour offers two expeditions providing rich experience and lifelong memories of inland Yucatan.

Tours limited to seven passengers.

Turnkey cost: $75.00 per passenger.

The best travel value in the Yucatan peninsula.

Day Trip #1

Featured sites of interest:

Chichén Itzá
Mesón del Marques
Valladolid and environs

We depart Cancun's Hotel Zone in the early morning, driving directly to Chichén Itzá, where we will arrive by 10:00 a.m. Tour Chichén under the guidance of bilingual guide, Julian Briceño.

After our two hour tour, we depart Chichén for a scrumptious lunch at Valladolid's Mesón del Marques, an exquisite colonial complex facing the city's main square. The Mesón's kitchen serves superb cuisine in this "most Mayan" of all Yucatec cities. After lunch we will have opportunity to swim at the Inn's garden pool.

There will also be time for shopping at Valladolid's remarkable Centro de Artesanías, offering some of the best values in Yucatan.

Time permitting, we will visit Convento San Bernardino, the first Franciscan foundation in The New World. San Bernardino's interior artistry - and extensive walled gardens - are delightful.

Valladolid is also home to Cenote Zaci - and the finest museum east of Merida. The artifact collection at San Roque provides penetrating insight into the history, pre-history and culture of the Mayan people as well as the lives of European colonists who arrived in the early 1500's.

We return to Cancun's Hotel Zone by 7:00 p.m.

Day Trip #2

Featured sites of interest:

Ek Balam
Mesón del Marques
Valladolid and environs

Ek Balam is a vast archaeological site still under excavation. In addition to our gifted Mayan guide, Juan Puc, we are often able to chat with archaeologists working on site. Unlike Chichén Itzá where pyramid climbing is now forbidden, visitors are welcome to climb all the buildings at Ek Balam. From the top of the central pyramid one can see over the top of northern Yucatan's scrub jungle: on a clear one can see the tops of the pyramids at distant Chichén and Coba'. This trip also includes lunch and post-prandial swimming at Valladolid's El Mesón del Marques, followed by craft shopping and Valladolid sight-seeing.  We return to Cancun's Hotel Zone by 7:00 p.m.
